Planning Your Wedding Around Your Color Season
By Megan Haynes ·
What if your wedding day looked and felt even more _you_—effortlessly radiant, deeply personal, and full of color that brings out your natural beauty?
Most people plan their wedding colors based on trends, Pinterest boards, or what's "in" that year. But what if you based your colors on something even more meaningful—your own color season?

I love this idea so much because it helps everything feel cohesive and intentional. When you plan your wedding with your color season in mind, it's like the whole day comes into harmony—your flowers, your dress, your makeup, even the mood of your photos. And best of all? You'll look and feel like your most confident self.
Imagine how much easier wedding planning could be if you already had a color palette that was made for you. So many of the decisions—from florals to dresses to makeup—start to fall into place. Everything just feels right.

To bring this idea to life, I teamed up with two of my absolute favorite Northern Colorado florists—Wild Blossoms and Ardent Rose. Not only are they incredibly talented, they've both had a color analysis with me—so they understand seasonal color analysis.
They shared a few of their favorite floral designs, and I paired each one with a color palette that fits naturally with one of the 12 color seasons.

Planning your wedding should feel joyful, not stressful. Using your color season as a guide can simplify so many of those big decisions. Your palette becomes a built-in filter, helping you choose details that feel cohesive, beautiful, and perfectly you.
