Deep Autumn makeup.

These are the Deep Autumn shades I use with clients in the Colorbook studio and in the client photos you see on the site. Each recommendation includes a note on why I love it for this season.

How to wear it

Deep Autumn makeup notes.

  • Lips. Deep burgundy, wine, brick red, plum, rust, and cinnamon. Avoid light, frosty, or cool pinks.
  • Eyes. Rich warm brown, bronze, deep olive, copper, and warm plum shadows. Brown or brown-black liner over true black.
  • Blush. Warm berry, deep peach, terracotta, and warm rose. Avoid cool pink or icy blush.
  • Foundation. Look for warm or neutral undertones with the right depth—never ashy or pink-based.
